Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is a reviewer who takes on Z-grade movies usually that are in the genre of martial arts and horror. genre a roughly similar beat that of The Cinema Snob but tending towards action-oriented dumb films and a morbid enjoyment of the genre. She began reviewing in late 2009, and when she gained some recognition through the forums (under the name of her former handle Obscurus Lupa) she became a member of the Channel Awesome family. The site was up and running through the beginning of 2015, when Obscurus Lupa Presents retooled to Movie Nights. There are two podcasts she hosts on her channel, both of which focus on the Charmed series, and are hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Brad Jones' Jesus Bro! was also her first film. She has appeared on Brad Jones's series Midnight Screenings, usually reviewing terrible children's films as well as RiffTrax Live Shows as well as occasional adult comedies (such as Baywatch 2017). She began reviewing movies at the end of 2009 and gained popularity on channels like the Channel Awesome forums before officially becoming a member of the network's family of reviewers. There have been numerous appearances in Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall up to Phelous & the Movies. She was part Channel Awesome. Channel Awesome along with Doug Walker.
